Anytime now :)

Well I'm nearing my due date and it could be any day now! As much as I want to meet my baby, I don't mind waiting the next two weeks till my due date, after that I'll probably start getting VERY impatient :)

Thanks to all my friends and loved ones I've hardly had to spend any money for baby, thanks to all of you who gave me gifts, you are awesome!!

Here you can see the crib in all its glory :P

The other day I had a pregnancy photo shoot with Nick, when I get the pics I will be sure to post them, I hear there are some good ones :)

And to end this post here are some delicious meals Nicky made for me as of late...I wish I took pictures of all of them...but only got a couple:

Well thats all regarding the Caney Creek Heroes, until they post some pix that I can then post here....

Spain: Two words: Spain ROCKS! And they did it, they won the world cup... something all Spaniards were ever waiting for ... I think the stars were Casillas and Villa, and they are the best looking too.....VIVaaaaaaa Espanaaaa!!!!!!!
The pillars of the Earth: I just found out on facebook that they are making a mini series of the novel pillars of the Earth starting by the end of this month, and im super excited about it, Im gonna read the book again before I start watching the series...to brush up on it. YAY!!
Visit: This weekend my parents and sisters (Tuchi, Irene and Ester) will be coming over to spend a week here with me, and im really looking forward to it, its gonna be FUN!! :P

My new thing: Hah ok this is gonna sound stupid, but my new thing is signing up to receive free samples in the mail, its awesome! And I love checking the mail to find a bunch of random free samples all for me.
And besides all that random stuff I just finished blabbing about, I've been doing lots of baby laundry, organizing..umm 'chilling' and other non-important things :)
Im already on my 33rd week, and Im only missing about 45 days for that special day when I get to meet my son face to face...It really is quite exciting!! Im gonna try taking more pics of my belly... And I'll be sure to post them when I take some.

And...since I saved best for last:

I love you baby! You're the best husband ever, and pretty soon you'll be the best father out there. Have fun, and I cant wait till you're back.

Good news...

I have wonderful news: I finally got my green card!!!! The 18th of september we were scheduled to an interview to make sure our marriage is legitimate and we arent just getting married for a green card, which is the last step to achieving the green card.. unless they think you are suspicious then theres more to it..
Nick and I did a lot of research before the interview to see what kind of proof we needed to bring and the questions they would ask, the articles we found on the internet made it sound really scary, but thank God I wasn't nervous at all...even if they tried they cant prove im not in love if I AM!
We had a super sweet, friendly guy interview us, and there was nothing scary about it.
So thanks to all of you for your prayers I've finally finished the green card process...at least for a couple years(In two years ill have to apply for a 'permanent resident card' since now I have a 'conditional resident card', they are both green cards)

So long!!

So, Im going to be at the FDTP for the month of August, with no internet. That means that this blog will be very boring for that time.
But I promise that when I come back ill have many pictures of my time there to share with you.
Oh, and.. if you see Nicky online please chat with him and give him attention for me.
Thanks.....see you later!

New look...

I know how annoying it is when people constantly change they're blog template.
But I have been wanting to change my template for quite a while, its nothing special but its a change from my boring other one.
But...in the process of changing the template I lost all my links to You, my friends, blogs.
So those of you that would like me to add you to my list of friends please post your url, and it would make me very happy!
I suppose since Nicks pic is up here, its kind of his blog too now, so there might be a post or two of his.
I love you peoples and ummm...I think everyone that takes the time to post a comment on my blog is a sweetie, because it makes my day!
Adios!

Websites for kids and teachers.

Since im Dunes teacher, i've been doing some 'educational webpage' searching, and I just thought Id post some of them here for your benefit:

Readeez
-- fun way of learning to read.
Bible Readeez-- verses
English Alphabet
Learn english kids --games, flashcards (to print),songs, stories..
SEN teacher --printables.(handwriting, pre writing, math, etc)--I think this website's material is meant for 'special' children, but can be used for any child.
Handwriting for kids--worksheets to print.
Spanish for kids
50 states song -- Dune (and I) learnt the 50 states on this video.
Animated stories -- Includes the words so the kid can read along.(English/spanish)
Spanish flash cards for kids --(online)
Map --Dune likes finding countries and states on the map, with this one you can click on any continent to zoom in, and then click on a state or city.
e-learning for kids --I havent explored this site much, but you can find learning games in different languages.
More learning games for kids
Learn to read --This site is actually really good, and makes reading fun.

Professional Missionary Academy

Yes, I haven't posted about this either, and it was almost a month ago!!!!!
The main reason I haven't posted about it, besides the fact that I'm lazy, is that I don't have any photos of the PMA Graduation, and I don't like posts without photos.
I could rob some from Kathy's blog, but both me and Nick agree that I look pretty bad in those(I think the main reason is because in each photo I'm surrounded by these really hot chicks!!!)
Anyways it was great, I was able to go on bicycle with Kathy, chill in the Jacuzzi, eat yummy food, hang out with people, and I even received some nice massages from these professionals(Timmy and Jesse).
The sad part was that I actually didn't Graduate yet because I'm missing 3 assignments!
But Lord willing Ill be able to finish them before the end of the year!!!
When I get PMA pix, I'll post them, tata for now.

On this lovely day. Still in Matamoros.

Today me and Maria did some clean up in the house and then went out to the gas stations to do some fundraising, it went alright considering we only had 16 activateds to offer people.
We got totally burnt though. :D
And now I have a funny tan(or should i call it burnt?) going on.
This sweet guy invited us to some cocktails, and crackers and stuff, real sweet!!
Then we came back, we had some problems finding the house(hence part of the reason of us getting so burnt)but at the end we found the house.
After that we rested a bit, and ate some lentils(why am I getting into details?)
I prepared some tuna salad.
And after that we had a real nice loving Jesus night, singing songs and reading "from Jesus with love"...Im in love with Jesus!
I have to say Im happy today:D
Yesterday I got way to bored(I was home all day)
We're probably going to cross the border the 23rd back to the states.
Pray I can get back in the states with no problems
Thanks
Well I should be going to sleep right about now.
Luvs and cuddles!

In Matamoros!!

So, me and Maria are on a visa trip, staying in Matamoros.
The past days we did restaurant singing here, we put a couple songs together in record time. And yeh, we didnt sound the greatest, but the Lord blessed it and we were able to do some needed fundraising and witness to a really sweet couple.
I have no photos to post of this trip because I didnt bring my camera, since i didnt have batteries for it.
But Here are some cool quotes:

"Its not the magnitude of our actions, but the amount of love that is put into them that matters.
It is not how much we give, but how much love we put in the giving."

"Sometimes it is harder for us to smile at those who live with us, the immediate members of our families, than it is to smile at those who are not so close to us. Let us never forget: love begins at home."

"I will never understand all the good that a simple smile can accomplish."

"Love is a fruit, in season at all times and within the reach of every hand. Anyone may gather it and no limit is set. Everyone can reach this love through meditation, the spirit of prayer, and sacrifice."

"How do we love? Not in big things, but in small things with great love. There is so much love in us all. We must not be afraid to show our love."

"Let us not love by words alone, but let us love until it hurts. It cost Jesus to love us. He even died for us. Now it is our turn to love one another as Jesus loved us. You must not be afraid to say "yes" to Jesus, because there is no greater love than his love and no greater joy than his joy."

"Homelessness is not only of bricks but homelessness comes from that terrible loneliness that the unwanted, the unloved know along their way. Are we there? Do we know them? Do we see them?"

The fruit of prayer is a clean heart and a clean heart is free to love. The fruit of love is Peace--Unity--Joy."

"There is no greater sickness in the world today than the lack of love."

"Love does not measure; it just gives."

"Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless."

"God loves a cheerful giver. She or he gives best who gives with a smile."

"I have found the paradox, that if you love until it hurts, there can be no more hurt, only more love."
