Im still alive

Despite the heat and neverending sweat, Im still alive. Now i can appreaciate AIRCON!
Fans keep you alive...so thank the lord for them!
Yesterday and today i went out in the mornings from like 10:00am to 3:00am doing pledging and stuff.
It went good and met some nice helpfull people.
My parents and bro and sisters are coming sometime tonight, and im pretty happy about that:D
I might go out now, but just the thought of the sun glaring on me again makes me want to be lazy. I have to say Ive been getting lots of exercise from walking all around the city, and im trying to get all the walking around I can now, cuz theres no chance of that when im back in Houston:D.

My love

On this lovely day. Still in Matamoros.

Today me and Maria did some clean up in the house and then went out to the gas stations to do some fundraising, it went alright considering we only had 16 activateds to offer people.
We got totally burnt though. :D
And now I have a funny tan(or should i call it burnt?) going on.
This sweet guy invited us to some cocktails, and crackers and stuff, real sweet!!
Then we came back, we had some problems finding the house(hence part of the reason of us getting so burnt)but at the end we found the house.
After that we rested a bit, and ate some lentils(why am I getting into details?)
I prepared some tuna salad.
And after that we had a real nice loving Jesus night, singing songs and reading "from Jesus with love"...Im in love with Jesus!
I have to say Im happy today:D
Yesterday I got way to bored(I was home all day)
We're probably going to cross the border the 23rd back to the states.
Pray I can get back in the states with no problems

Sailors PARTY!

I havent posted anything about our cool gold/yellow submarine party.Since the network wasnt working I couldent get the pix of the party. But now ive found and stole the pics from Claires blog:D
IT was Pearls birthday, and since we love her so very much we went all out and the boys did an excelent job in decorating the submarine. Jaime was the one with the brilliant idea of having a submarine party, since we always have bday parties in the living room and we wanted something different...
Michelle, Marianne and Claire(and maybe some other girl)prepared some yummy food and dips for the party.....it was tasty.
I prepared the card, and had everyone sign it, plus a fun game that everyone enjoyed.
Pearl was out so we were going to surprise her:D
We all hid in the "submarine"
When she came home, the house was completly empty except 2 of the guys that had made a treasure hunt for her leading her to the submarine.
Finally we(the ones hiding in the submarine)who had been baking(cuz it was hot)in the submarine waiting for her busted in "we all live in a yellow submarine"song when she found us.
And thats when the party started.

In Matamoros!!

So, me and Maria are on a visa trip, staying in Matamoros.
The past days we did restaurant singing here, we put a couple songs together in record time. And yeh, we didnt sound the greatest, but the Lord blessed it and we were able to do some needed fundraising and witness to a really sweet couple.
I have no photos to post of this trip because I didnt bring my camera, since i didnt have batteries for it.
